#20 Andrew Johnson Impeached (1868)

In the years following the Civil War, after Lincoln was assassinated, Andrew Johnson took control over Reconstruction efforts. However, unbeknowst to him, he would be over powered by a group of radical republicans trying to help the plight of African-Americans by freeing them from slavery. Johnson was a very wishy-washy president that was too eager to please the defiant South than help promote equality.
