This amendment has been long overdue, finally the chains that America has imposed on an entire race of people has been lifted. This is especially significant because it not only established federal superiority as well as taking America in the direction of equality among all citizens that I know it can be one day. Without this amendment I would be without many of most of the writers on my newspaper staff.
