Boss Tweed is the WORST kind of person. He took advantage of wide-eyed immigrants, with promises of flashy perks in order to make money off the ignorant immigrants. I remember writing many articles trying to promote awareness of his corruption but I was highly ignored. His conviction is very significant because I can no longer see people in the same situation as my father taken advantage of.
